Lane & Lane is a Sydney-based Australian law firm. We practise in the areas of property, corporate and commercial law and commercial disputes. We also have a wills, probate and estate planning and administration practice.
The firm was founded in 1898 and has continued to evolve and adapt over the years to serve the needs of our clients, always retaining our commitment to service delivery and integrity.
As a commercial law firm, we act for large publicly listed corporations, private companies and public instrumentalities.
We also have a strong and valued private client practice. Our private practice has a particular focus on residential conveyancing, estate planning, probate and estate administration.

As a smaller legal firm, we deliberately focus on those areas of practice in which we can best serve our clients' needs. In this way, we are able to provide quality advice and experienced service in the areas in which we practice. However, as our clients' are important to us, we are also committed to assisting our clients in areas in which we do not traditionally practice. We do this by actively identifying, and liaising on our clients' behalf, with other law firms or barristers who can best assist our clients in those other practice areas.
We are proud that we have retained many of our commercial clients over decades, and many families as clients over several generations. We are also committed to ensuring that we attract and retain new clients. We know this is achieved by identifying and understanding our clients' needs and using our legal skills to address those needs in an efficient and practical way.
